Glassport has entered into contract with Fayette Waste for residential pickup. There is nothing residents need to do during this transition from Waste Management to Fayette Waste. The billing will stay the same through TCVCOG. Starting the 2nd quarter of 2026 billing rates will change from $83.13 per quarter to $55.20 per quarter.
As we transition from Waste Management to Fayette Waste, all residents need to know that trash MUST be placed at the curb on Sunday evening after 5:00pm. Fayette Waste starts working as early as 5:30am. If trash is placed after 5:30, the dash cameras in the truck will show this and they will not be asked to come back for a missed pickup. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition. We are confident that as Fayette Waste becomes familiar with the Borough any issues will be resolved. One bulk item per household will be picked up on the 1st Monday of the month. If you have additional bulk items, please call 724-430-0100 option 3 to make arrangements for a special pickup. Fees will vary based off of the number of items and what the items are.
