GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Interested Individuals can obtain an application packet at the Glassport Borough Building. All applications must be submitted by 4pm on June 1, 2023.
Written and Physical Agility Testing will occur on June 8, 2023 at 10:00am. Glassport Council Chambers, 440 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045

Waste Management is still the trash hauler for the Borough. However, they no longer do the quarterly billing.
Turtle Creek Valley COG is the Borough's billing company.
The first bills have been sent out.
The amount due, $100, is for March through June trash service and is due on or before June 20. Payments received after June 20th will have a $10 late fee assessed.
The next quarterly bill will be due in September. Amount due will be $75, for service July through September.
A discount of $25 for anyone wishing to pay for the year will be applied if paid by June 20th .

A Town Hall Meeting will be held at 6pm on Tuesday June 13th, 2023 to discuss the moving of the borough business office located at 440 Monongahela Ave in Glassport. Join us for this important discussion.
We are continuing to take interest forms for the Whole Home Repair program.
The program is scheduled to open the spring. Allegheny county is scheduled to be awarded $12 million in the COG is collecting interest forms for a residence to help pre-qualify anyone interested. All applicants must own their home and fall within the income guidelines.

Street Sweeping for Monongahela Avenue will resume on Thursday April 20th weather permitting. The even side will be cleaned on Thursday and the odd side will be cleaned on Friday. Please keep this in mind to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
